It is rare to see wireless 802.11g speeds of 54 Mbps, but that is what XP reported from this unit just moments ago. The router is an 802.11n class set to broadcast at up to 145 Mbps, so clearly this adapter can hold up its end quite well. Bottomline: There are others here on DX that are cheaper, but with the performance this one gives, I'd recommend it to anyone needing a good, sensitive g-class adapter.
